Me and my husband Bob are both native Californians. We met while skiing in Squaw Valley. Soon after we got married and raised two girls. I practiced law in San Francisco for 37 years and just retired last summer. Bob and I both share a love for travel and sailing. Bob sailed quite a bit when he lived in Southern California and even had his own sailboat. And I raced in a 38’ sailboat on San Francisco Bay for a number of years with friends. In my younger days, I traveled extensively, living for a year in Southern France and traveling throughout Europe. We’ve also traveled frequently with our daughters, taking them to Turkey, Tahiti, Austria, Costa Rica, Italy, and Germany. After our children were grown, Bob and I wanted return to our sailing roots, so we took a series of classes to become certified “coastal cruising” skippers. We chartered a few boats from Moorings and Sunsails a few times before purchasing our own boat through the Moorings owner’s program. We now live year-round at our home in Lake Tahoe and sail as much as the owner’s program allows us from charter bases all over the world.
